Once again it is time for our Crazy Ingredient Challenge. I missed last month's challenge as June seemed to be so busy for me... so something had to give.
It is time to Fill the Cookie Jar and I think mine was empty for a long time... as when I asked hubby what I make his comment was ~~ "You make cookies". His only suggestion was to make something that wasn't too sweet and I think I fulfilled his request.
I am not one for cooked carrots, fresh ~~ yes but not cooked. I finally found a recipe that I can use for cooked carrots and they are so good and taste so fresh.. not mushy. This is a perfect recipe to eat with Cornish Hen with Apricot Glaze and Wild Rice Dressing. It gives your plate that pop of colour.
