Gingerbread Eggnog Mocha Latte
As the weather turns colder and the snow starts falling a Gingerbread Eggnog Mocha Latte is perfect after being outside ~ skating, skiing, playing in the snow or even snow shoveling like what I do.
Makes 2 small lattes or 1 large latte
Ingredients:
2/3 cups strong coffee (I use my Keurig and make a small coffee for each cup)
1/8 cup egg nog
1/4 cup milk
1 tbsp plus 1 tsp gingerbread syrup (I use Torani syrup)
1 tbsp Hills Bros Double Chocolate Cappuccino or Hot Chocolate Mix
Whipped cream (optional)
Directions:
Add eggnog, milk and 1 tbsp gingerbread syrup into Aroma Hot Froth X-press Milk Frother with the cappuccino attachment. Froth milk. You can also use your blender for this.
Add 1 tsp gingerbread syrup and 1 tbsp Hills Bros Double Chocolate Cappuccino to coffee and mix.
Pour frothed milk into coffee, spoon some of the froth on top.
Add whipped cream to top of drink.
This look so good, I want to make some for my family.
ReplyDeleteI think it is awesome and have drank way too much of it already... but that won't stop me.
DeleteMmmmm....can't wait to try this. Pinning it. Cathy
ReplyDeleteI hope you like it Cathy.
DeleteOh boy does that look good, I printed it for my grocery list...cannot wait to try this on a cold morning. I like eggnog alone but I don't seem to crave it like everyone else....So this is right up my alley to get rid of the rest of it after I have my one token cup! lol
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy it... It is perfect for a little flavour but not too much eggnog.
DeleteI don't drink coffee, but this looks easy enough to adapt to a hot chocolate. Yum!
ReplyDeleteIt would taste perfect in hot chocolate Lara, I just might have to make myself a cup.
DeleteI rarely drink a cup of coffee anymore, but I'd make an exception for a treat like this!!!
ReplyDeleteI had stopped drinking coffee although now that I have started making my own specialty coffees I am back to full force.. Not always a good thing.
DeleteThis looks fabulous! I have never had eggnog but I love Gingerbread so I would be willing to try this. Yum Yum!
ReplyDeleteI only like eggnog this way as I find that it is too thick for my liking.
DeleteWe raise chickens and my husband has started making real eggnog. This recipe would add a bit more flair and yum-factor.
ReplyDeleteHomemade eggnog would be perfect in this recipe Tara.
DeleteThis is definitely less expensive than a trip at Starbucks ;-)
ReplyDeleteGoodness, this looks wonderful. Gingerbread flavor would be special.
ReplyDeletesounds like a great flavor combination!
ReplyDeleteSounds delicious. I'm so into making coffee drinks these days this will be on my list for tomorrow.
