"American as Apple Pie"
Pie is part of American history. They came with the early settlers and were considered economical food. Pies were an easy way to transport and keeping food. The pilgrims brought over the apple speed and once the trees grew, the apple pie became very popular. December 1st was National Pie Day and the 3rd was National Apple Pie Day so.....

My Host Favorite
We love smoothies at our house and I make them frequently during the week. They are a convenient drink to take along as you are heading out the door to school or work. Also so yummy. Sheena from Hot Eats and Cool Reads brought over her Strawberry and Cherry Smoothie. I have been putting frozen cherries in my smoothie and they are so yummy.
