Almost Wordless Wednesday {link-up} ~ Snow in May

I hope you will join me again this week for Almost Wordless Wednesday link up.  I have enjoyed having you here and would love if you would share this party with your friends and followers.  I love taking pictures and this is one way I can share them with you... although sometimes they don't turn out as I want to or the way I want them to,  like these ones.

Almost Wordless Wednesday ~ Snow in May

If you follow my blog or any of my social media, you know that we got lot of snow this year.  It just kept coming and coming.  Depending on where we live here in the Keweenaw, we saw anywhere from 200-340 inches of the white stuff.  I didn't think we would ever see the last of it ~ well, in places there are still some ~ but in our yard it finally disappeared... I prayed for no more and I begged my friend Kathe from over at Kathe with an E not to send the snow they received in Colorado over Mother's Day but did anyone listen to me... NO!  They sent it anyways (sorry Kathe, I do know that you didn't really send it)...

The only good thing about it was that it really did look nice and we didn't get more than a scuff of snow, which melted as soon as the sun came out.. and it was a photographer's paradise or at least mine.

I loved how the snow seemed to cling to each other..
trying to hang on for dear life.

And the sun glistening the snowflakes as it came up...

The morning reminded me of the crisp early Saskatchewan mornings
where the trees are filled with hoarfrost.

It was a beautiful morning...
even though we had the dreaded "S" word once again...

Last week's Almost  Wordless Wednesday was Birder's Paradise

  4. I know the kind of Saskatchewan morning you described, but not in May. That`s quite the area you live in; I`m used to the beauty of snow having a more limited time span. :)
