Coffee Creamers
I love making my own creamers. They are very simple to make. You can use any flavour that you want in them. I use a basic recipe and then add the flavouring that I think would work the best. Make a few and you can use them in a coffee bar (I did bring some that I made to my staff Christmas party) or put them in a bottle and give them away for Christmas or perfect for a host gift with coffee cups and your favorite coffee.
Basic Creamer Recipe:
1 14 oz condensed milk
2 cups milk (I use evaporated milk)
Mix together and then add flavours as below.
* I have used 1 large can of evaporated milk and that works well too.
Flavoured Creamer Recipes:
White Chocolate Raspberry Creamer
1/2 recipe of basic creamer
2 tbsp white chocolate mix (I used Dove Chocolate Discoveries Frosty White Chocolate Smoothie Mix)
1 tbsp Raspberry Syrup
Mix all together until smooth.
Salted Caramel Vanilla Creamer
1/2 recipe basic creamer
1 tbsp salted caramel syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla
Mix all together.
Chocolate Peppermint
1/2 recipe of basic creamer
2 tbsp cocoa (I used Divine Fairtrade Cocoa Powder that I bought from GlobeIn)
1 tsp peppermint extract
Mix all together.
Chocolate Cappuccino
1/2 recipe of basic creamer
2 tbsp cocoa (I used Divine Fairtrade Cocoa Powder)
1/2 tsp Almond Extract
1/4 tsp Orange Extract
Mix all together.
1/2 of the Basic Creamer Recipe makes about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 cup of creamer. I like to divide the basic recipe and make 2 different flavours. Keep creamers in fridge for up to a week.
