Easter Decorating
One of the easiest ways I have found to decorate is by doing a Tablescape. If you have a beautiful table, it doesn't take too much to add a few more items around your house to make everything look festive.
I shared this year's Easter tablescape over at Daily Dish Magazine.
I would love it if you would head over there and see what I put together.
One of my favorite pieces that I used this year was a little bunny holding a egg from Department.
Isn't she just the cutest?
If you are like me, you are forever buying things that just don't work for the purpose you bought them for. I bought this 3 tier basket to put my fruit in and set it on the counter. Well it didn't work and has been sitting in my basement collecting dust. I finally found away to use it.
I think after Easter I am going to paint my basket, wouldn't it look cute in a pastel colour. What colour would you use or should I paint each basket in a different colour?
Once my dining room was complete, I headed over to my living room.
This year I didn't do much decorating but I did use my Spring wreath that I made from last year and the spring flower vases that I made this year. Everything is pastel.
I also added a vase filled with crocheted eggs I made last year.
I used this last year on my table ... so simple to make especially if you crochet.
Fill a vase with crocheted eggs or even ones that you bought... tie a ribbon and that is it..
Easy Peasy.
Add some candles.. I love adding candles to my decorating it helps bring in the ambiance.
And that is it.
You don't have to be extravagant.. You don't have to spend a lot of money...
Simple and beautiful.
I hope you have a Joyous Easter
and
I would love to know how you decorated for this season.
All look terrific Marlys! Pinned and shared!
