Chai Latte from Calmer Sutra Tea

I was given the chance of tasting Calmer Sutra Tea and I have to say that it is wonderful.  I was given Chai Tea, Peppermyntle Tea and a jar of Calmer Sutra Ginger infused Honey.
I was not asked to do a review and all opinions are 100% mine

Chai Latte from Calmer Sutra Tea

When the packaged arrived, I was surprised to see that the Chai was wet instead of dry leaves and spices.  It can be stored in the fridge for 3 months or in the freezer for 6 months.  You can see all the yummy goodness that goes into the tea - the cardamom pods, the cinnamon sticks, the nutmeg and the tea leaves.  It tastes wonderfully, just like the chai that I make from scratch with fresh ingredients but much much easier.  I do use more water then the directions say to do.  To make a quick cup I will steep 1 tbsp of chai in close to one cup of Hot water with a small amount of sweetened condensed milk and/or ginger honey as my sweetener.

This way is quick and easy and I love the flavour of the chai...  But at times I want to make a Latte.. I will make it hot or at times I will drink it over ice for a cold drink..

Chai Latte

Nothing beats a good Chai Latte either hot or cold.

Ingredients: (for one cup)  Printable Recipe
3/4 cup hot water
1 tbsp Calmer Sutra Chai
1-2 tsp Calmer Sutra Ginger Infused Honey (add to taste)
1/4 cup Almond Milk (either steamed for hot tea or cold)

Directions:
Steep tea in hot water to desired taste (I usually steep for about 3-4 minutes).  If you want cold tea you will need to steep longer.  Add honey.  If making cold, add ice.  Steam and froth milk (if cold do not steam). Slowly pour frothed milk into tea.  Enjoy!
Cook's Notes: You can use any kind of milk in your latte, but I like the taste of almond milk.

Peppermyntle Tea

The Peppermyntle tea smelled so good when I opened up the jar.. I could have eaten it right from the jar, the peppermint smell was strong and it carried into the tea..  It tastes wonderful and soothing, perfect to calm an upset stomach or refresh your body..

Ginger infused Honey
This honey has ginger root that you can see in the honey.  It gives whatever you make with it a little bit of a kick.  Perfect to add to your teas or even use it in your baking or cooking.  I have made Ginger Honey Apple Sauce with it and used this apple sauce to make a Ham and Cheese Panini... I do need  to buy some  as my jar is just about gone.
