Belight Tea Review

A couple of weeks ago I received an email Toffler asking me if I would like to try a new tea.   In the email it mentioned that this tea helps with digestion, metabolism and reduces snacking.  I am in and sent back my reply right away.

I received my box of tea within a few days of sending back my email...
and made my first cup right away

The results: I feel in love with this tea.  I love the fresh, clean earthy taste. It even smelled wonderful from the bag alone.  I love that one tea bag makes at least 2 -3 cups of tea.  It reminded me of the tea that my mother-in-law sent from Togo, West Africa.

And then I went to the website to find out more about this tea.
Belight is made from Pu-erh tea and herbs that "supports weight control as it stablilizes energy, balance digestions and helps you manage craving."

From this statement I was hooked...
A wonderful tasting tea that helps with weight control, digestion, stress and may even give me some energy. Yes, please I can use all the help I can get. I can't say that any of these things have changed as a result of me drinking this tea, for one reason as that I just started and I haven't had it ever day.  But I do know that it is going to be part of my overall wellness program that I am working on.  I will update this review after I have used this product for awhile and let you know how I feel...hopefully I can tell you that I have lost some weight, stopped craving junk food and have more energy.. especially the more energy part as I have been feeling like a slug these past few months.  Thank you Toffler for letting me experience this tea.

For more information about Belight head over to their website and facebook page.

I hope that you will have a cup of tea with me.  Let me know if you try this tea.

Disclaimer:  I was given a box of Belight tea to try and review.  All opinions are 100% mine.

  1. Thanks for the review, Marlys. Glad you like it. :D

One of the best ways to drink Belight to get the mentioned effects is, for example, if mid-afternoon you tend to slump and look for a pick-me-up snack, try a hot cup of Belight instead. Or in the evening, if you crave junk food, start sipping on Belight about about 20-30min after dinner, or before you'd otherwise have dessert. Seems to be particularly suited to those situations, for both me and others.

    Be well and be light,

  5. I'm not much of a tea drinker but this post totally made me want to go have a nice, steaming cup! Being 7 months pregnant, I need all the help I can get with digestion (unfortunately). Thanks for sharing!
