Hot Chocolate Ornaments

I saw these ornaments on Pinterest and thought that they would be a great way to give homemade hot chocolate mix to friends and family or even to drop off over at the neighbors...  I think it would be great to find a hot chocolate ornament hanging on my door or you can add it to the outside of your gift.

Hot Chocolate Ornaments

Materials:
Ball ornaments ~ I bought the round flat ornaments from Walmart
stickers or decals
tag of how to make the hot chocolate
string
hot chocolate mix ~ either store bought or homemade
ingredients you want to add to the hot chocolate ~ marshmallows, mini chocolate chips, candy cane pieces, caramel

Directions:
Use ornaments that are food safe.  Wash and dry them.
Apply stickers or decal to outside
Add hot chocolate mix to the inside of ornament (enough to make one cup)
Add extra ingredients on top of the hot chocolate mix ~ marshmallows, mini chocolate chips, candy cane pieces.  Place cap back on ornament.
Add tag to outside of ornament.
Give as gift.

Hot chocolate is the perfect drink to warm you up after skating... It warms you from the outside to the inside. It is a gift that will be sure to please anyone of any age.

Add an ornament or two along with a jar of hot chocolate to a gift basket.  A perfect hostess gift.

  9. Hi Marlys! I'm stopping in from Let's Get Real today. Your hot chocolate ornaments are a great idea. I have so many people that I want to give a little something to, but don't have a lot of cash to do that. This is a great affordable gift that I'm sure will be appreciated.
