Fall Tablescape

Fall is here.
One of my favorite seasons.
I love the fall colours..
and I love decorating for fall.

Fall Tablescape

One of the places in my house that I love to decorate is in my dining room.  I love to be able to set out my dishes.  The oranges, reds, yellows and greens of fall bring so much colour to my table.

For each setting, I used the burlap placemats that I made.  Along with the orange/brown placemats, I made green/brown and then a pinkish/yellow/brown ones.  Last fall I had bought orange and green coloured dishes that I used for chargers.  The rest of the dishes that I used were an antique set that I bought that were yellow, orange, green and grey.  I alternated the colours patterns to bring them all together.

For the centerpiece, I used two leaf placemats that I bought at the Dollar Tree. I love using candles as part of my tablescapes and for this one I used a Candle Lite candleholder and candles.  The candles that I used in my holder were pear, apple and apricot shape and smells... Wonderful smelling.  To complete my tablescape I added leaves that I bought from the Dollar Tree in the candle holder and also on each place setting.

Simple and Elegant!
Bringing many aspects of fall together ~
Leaves, Burlap, Fall fruit and colours.

Fall Dishes that I like to serve:
Slow cooker Apple and Onion Pork Chops
Apple and Cranberry Pork Tenderloin
Thyme and Maple Acorn Squash
Pumpkin Swirl Cheesecake

Crostata Crumble

  4. Hi there, Marlys! I'm visiting from Christine's "Table It!" blog party. First, I want to tell you how much I like your dining room chairs. The "grid" design is really cool!

I'm impressed that you made those burlap placemats!!! That must have taken forever-and-a-day!!! They look great, though, and I'm sure they were well worth the time for the number of occasions you'll be able to use them over the years.

I like how you alternated the colors in the place settings and then united them all by using the same placemats, flatware and stemware. That's a wonderfully coordinated look!

Blessings to you and yours this fall season! Very nice tablescape!!!
